There will be hot cocoa, indoor snowball fight & a LEGO display. PLUS! there will be elves handing out gifts like coupons to local businesses & cups for the annual holiday cocktail crawl! 
• Santa @ Prioritized Pastries (4904 Devonshire); 3-7pm, 12/14 Another new business to the neighborhood! Alex & her crew will be hosting Santa for FREE! He might also have a few gifts to hand out . Bring your camera to get a picture!
• Cocktail Crawl @ Multiple Locations; 4-9pm, 12/14 Step 1. Stop by to see the elves at CoRadius, then Santa at Prioritized Pastries. Step 2. Go to Onesto Pizza & Trattoria (5401 Finkman), Southside Wine and Spirits (5017 Hampton), JJ Twig's South Hampton (5600 Hampton), The Mack Bar and Grill (4615 Macklind), Copper Pig (4611 Macklind) or Edibles & Essentials (5815 Hampton) and buy a signature cocktail crawl drink for $6. Step 3. Take that cup to another participating business and get a refill for $5. Step 4. Repeat & enjoy!

If a plan is presented, it will need to go to the voters for approval--one of the fatal flaws in the recent Better Together plan according to area voters.

The Municipal League of Metro St. Louis turned in the final signatures Monday to kick off what’s known as the Board of Freeholders. That 19-person body will have a year to present St. Louis and St. Louis County voters with a city-county merger plan.

The lot where the Avalon Theater stood on Kingshighway has been sold! Local real estate company--Garcia Properties--is the new owner. There are no plans yet for development....please stay patient as these plans normally take months....and sometimes longer.

This is certainly good news for the Kingshighway Corridor on the eastern border of the Southampton Neighborhood.

Sweetness and cold in the heat wave - National Ice Cream Day - this Sunday and celebrated at Clementine's Naughty & Nice Creamery, 4715 Macklind in the heart of Southampton!

On Sunday (July 21), the first 50 paying customers in line will receive a free Clementine's Creamery t-shirt with decorative buttons handed out while supplies last. Doors open at 11 am so head that way.
